The international Groupe Up, which specializes in employee care in more than two dozen countries around the world, has a new director for the Visegrad Four (V4) countries. Stéphane Nicoletti (50) in his new position will have the goal of expanding the successful digitalization of employee benefits and the development of HR tools and technologies from the Czech Republic to other countries in the V4 region.
Stéphane Nicoletti was at the very beginning of Up (formerly Le Chèque Déjeuner) in the Czech Republic when he came from France to help build it in the mid-1990s. At that time, the Czech branch had 10 employees and 10 clients and was exclusively involved in the distribution of meal vouchers. Over the following years, it began to successfully develop and expand its range of products and services.
In 2006 Nicoletti became CEO of Up Czech Republic and under his leadership the company achieved several major milestones. Nicoletti was particularly responsible for the successful digitalization of the entire employee benefits system and the development of HR tools for employee engagement and motivation.
Today, Up Czech Republic’s products and services are used by 400,000 users and is a leader in HR digitalization. Its motivational platform Můj Up, which in addition to offering and managing eStravenka and eBenefity benefits also offers revolutionary tools to ensure a healthy company culture, has won several awards in the prestigious IEA 2023 digital project competition.
Achieving similar success will be his main mission in his new position as Director for the V4 region. In Slovakia, Up has a long tradition and a strong presence, just like in the Czech Republic. And in Poland, it is also one of the leading players not only in the employee benefits markets, but also through digital solutions for citizens.
“Our common mission in these countries is to become a leader in the field of employee motivation and engagement and to further develop our HR technology and tools.
